Criminal Defense Support
At Apogee Security & Investigation Services, LLC, our experienced investigators provide professional investigative support in criminal-defense matters. We conduct lawful and documented field investigations to locate and interview key witnesses, verify statements, review relevant facts, and help identify evidence that may assist defense counsel in case preparation.
Our role is to support attorneys through independent fact-gathering, ethical investigative methods, and clear documentation. Apogee does not provide legal advice, make legal strategy decisions, or guarantee any case result. Our investigative work is intended to assist defense counsel in evaluating evidence, identifying due-process concerns, and preparing for hearings, plea negotiations, sentencing, or trial.
When assigned in court-appointed, indigent-for-costs, or Justice Administrative Commission-related matters, Apogee performs investigative services only as authorized by the appointing attorney, applicable court order, JAC requirements, and governing Florida law.
Our comprehensive background investigations go beyond standard checks. Apogee uses lawful databases, public records, open-source intelligence, and field-investigation techniques to assist in locating witnesses who may be difficult to identify, contact, or subpoena. By reviewing public records, available digital footprints, social media information, and verified leads, we help defense counsel identify connections, confirm witness locations, and obtain information relevant to case preparation.
All investigative work is conducted within lawful and ethical boundaries and is designed to support accurate fact development, verified documentation, and timely investigative results for criminal-defense review.
