Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. President/CEO of Apogee Security & Investigation Services, LLC has 12 years as a New York City Law Enforcement Officer. Investigation experience was gained by working in the Special Operations Division on Rikers Island and PSA2 Precinct in Brooklyn, New York. In 2003, G.I. Medina relocated to Sarasota, Florida. The law enforcement background led G.I. Medina to work at Florida Department of Juvenile Justice and then Charlotte Correctional Institution (Maximum Security Prison) where inmates were centrally monitored due to the severity of their crimes. In 2006, G.I. Medina applied for and received a Florida Private Investigation Agency license.
