N.Y.P.D. STANDARD - NOTICING YIELDED PROCEDURAL DEFICIENCIEs

              G. I. Medina, Principal Investigator

DUE PROCESS INVESTIGATOR

Apogee Security & Investigation Services is led by G. I. Medina, a licensed private investigator and contracted Due Process Investigator with the Florida Justice Administration Commission (JAC). Through this role, Medina has conducted numerous investigations on behalf of the Erin Speyer Law Group, including Michael Berg and other defense attorneys, all of whom maintain a firm commitment to due process, evidentiary integrity, and constitutional defense. This Defense T.E.A.M. provides critical investigative support for criminal defense cases within Florida’s

12th and 20th Judicial Circuits.

Her JAC assignments have included homicide investigations, fraud and theft analysis, self-defense case reconstruction, background verifications, and witness interviews. Each investigation is approached with a focus on due process, evidentiary accuracy, and defense strategy integration, ensuring clients receive fair and fact-driven representation.

Medina’s investigative foundation was built through over a decade of law enforcement service in New York City, where she worked in the Special Operations Division on Rikers Island and at the PSA 2 Precinct in Brooklyn. These assignments demanded advanced investigative skill, precision, and discretion in handling high-risk and complex operations.

After relocating to Florida, Medina continued her work in public safety with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice and the Charlotte Correctional Institution (Maximum Security Prison), where she supervised and monitored high-risk inmates.

Her experience later expanded into brand-protection enforcement as a field investigator for the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) and the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Working alongside the Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) and the Tampa Police Department (TPD), she assisted in multiple intellectual property enforcement operations and was awarded a Gold Record by the RIAA in recognition of her contributions, an honor she presented to a TPD detective for joint enforcement success.
